Rishi Singh has been very careful with his fiancee, Jen Boecher on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. Though the couple has been engaged for a few years and Jen had moved to India, his parents had no idea about her. In fact, they had started presenting women to him as potential wives. This did not sit well with Jen at all and her friends, Randi and Myra questioned how faithful he was. Randi even catfished Rishi to see if he would bite and he mildly did but was able to talk his way out of it. Before they were to leave India, Randi and Myra felt that it was time to tell Rishi’s parents the truth about Jen so they hired a translator and broke the news.

Rishi looked visibly shocked on Sunday’s 90 Day Fiance and his parents were equally as stunned by the news. So, how did Rishi Singh really feel about what happened? According to Starcasm, he rushed to defend his fiancee’s honor. The model and personal trainer took to his Instagram to stand up for her. He explained that she was very upset and that is one thing that he does not like to see from her at all. Yet, she was really upset and hurt by the DMs she was receiving.

It seems that fans were shaming Jen yet there were some behind-the-scenes issues that had never been cleared up publicly. First off, she has been coming to India for almost a decade now so she knows how the culture works. Next, when Rishi popped the question, he let her know that his family was cool with him choosing his own wife. Plus, they were okay with him living on his own with his bride. He never actually had to stay at home.

The 90 Day Fiance star wanted more to be known, especially about Jen’s age. His mother and uncle were shocked to find out that Jen was in her latter forties. Yet, Rishi maintains it would have always been an issue no matter how it was revealed so he thanks Jen’s friends in some way for breaking the news. Finally, he is over the comparisons to cast members Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh. Rishi is firm that not all Indians and not all Americans are the same. That is very fair. It seems that he is happy with Jen and the two are moving ahead. As to how his family feels about it all, that should come up on the tell-all. Hopefully, they have accepted the love that Jen is bringing to Rishi.
