‘LPBW’ Fans Furious With Audrey Roloff’s Condescending & Entitled Tips
Little People, Big World alum Audrey Roloff is continuing to do the opposite of making friends via Instagram. The TLC star posted what she believed to be a cheesy and romantic video clip of herself and her husband Jeremy Roloff dancing to romantic music. While the video itself would have been fine to share, it was the lengthy caption she included that sent Little People, Big World fans into a rage. What was in this caption that got her followers so upset? Keep reading for the details.
Audrey Roloff gives entitled and condescending advice
The TLC alum decided to attach her sweet video of herself and her husband dancing while on vacation celebrating their anniversary with some marriage advice. As fans know, the two consider themselves to be married experts as they’ve released tons of various marriage-themed merchandise. The self-proclaimed marriage experts are considered to be extremely ironic by fans as most believe they are actually having a lot of trouble in their relationship based on the way they interact in videos and photos.
In the first paragraph of her post, she detailed all the woes of being a parent before noting, “It’s harder to connect as a couple in the chaos of it all.”
She continued: “But never stop romanticizing your love story. Never stop believing in the beauty, growth, depth, strength, and power of your love. The more you do, the more those actions and thoughts of love produce feelings of love, and the cycle continues.”
Don’t let the fear of being cheesy hold you back from a moment of meaningful connection. And don’t let the romance novels and tv shows distract or hinder you from romanticizing your own love story
The purpose of Audrey Roloff’s post was to remind her 1.6M Instagram followers it was important to avoid getting so lost in parenting that you forget to find time to love your significant other.
Her followers blasted her for out-of-touch advice
In the comments of her post, her followers point out that the average couple doesn’t have the money to spend on having someone take care of their kids while also paying for a vacation. Others pointed out that there’s also a serious issue of not having someone they trust enough so they can go on vacation. Moreover, some fans pointed out that even just finding time at home is impossible because of how much both spouses have to work to make ends meet with the way the economy is right now.
Do you agree the caption attached to her cheesy video came off as both entitled and condescending? Do you also think she’s a bit “out of touch” when it comes to giving marriage tips?
