Honey Boo Boo’s Man Tarnishes Her Sparkle On Special Day

Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson’s boyfriend really seemed to tarnish her sparkle on a very special day. The seventeen-year-old reality star recently went to her senior prom. This should have been a huge moment in her life which has been quite tumultuous. However, in the midst of all the fanfare, one thing stuck out and it was her longtime beau, Dralin Carswell. Honey Boo Boo’s Man Tarnishes Her Sparkle On Special Day

The other day, Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson celebrated a huge milestone in her life. She attended her senior prom. Her family was by her side, including her mother, Mama June, and sister, Pumpkin Efird. She wore a custom-made pink sparkly dress with eyeshadow and long nails to match. Along with her hair pulled half back and on the top of her head with two golden blonde pieces grazing her face, she looked every bit the princess. Furthermore, Honey Boo Boo even posed in front of a horse-drawn carriage that had a hot pink feather in its cap to match the prom queen.

Of course, Alana went with her boyfriend of almost two years, Dralin Carswell. One would think that the twenty-two-year-old would step up his casual game for the big day. Sadly, he did not as seen on Alana’s social media. Dralin opted to wear a white polo shirt, black jeans, and white sneakers which definitely was a distraction from Honey Boo Boo’s sparkly glam look. According to The Sun, fans had a lot to say about what Dralin chose to wear, especially to such a special occasion.

Fans flocked to Alana’s Instagram regarding what Dralin wore and his lack of respect for the special moment. “Beautiful why your boyfriend not dressed up,” one asked. Another added: “Why is your prom date in jeans and a t shirt.” Finally, one suggested this: “at least he can just show a little bit of tux in that shirt and he doesn’t need to wear a tie to prove it. Either that or else put a bow tie on or at least something to show the dance some respect.”

You Can’t Outshine HBB

Some Honey Boo Boo followers pointed out that, regardless of what Dralin wore, there was no way he could ever outshine her. She grew up a pageant girl so she knows how to sparkle. Therefore, he could have worn a matching suit and she still would have been the center of attention. Her personality is so large and over the top that Dralin seemingly was letting his queen shine.
