Taking to her Instagram profile recently, Janelle Brown shared a few older photos of herself during confessionals on Sister Wives. She added a caption underneath the slideshow of photos explaining that she learned something a very long time ago. The slideshow flipped over to videos of her hitting the gym. With a caption revealing what she learned. In the world she lived in, she needed to be her own hero.
Now, the shade she chucked at Kody Brown with this post was not lost on her followers. Fans suspected it was her own relationship with Kody that taught her she needed to be her own hero and do things for herself. Unfortunately, fans assume she learned this by waiting around for her husband to step up and be a man.
She’s really slimmed down recently
This Instagram post wasn’t just about taking a dig at her estranged husband. Janelle Brown was also flaunting the incredible progress she’s made with her weight loss journey. She’s really slimmed down and fans think being away from Kody looks great on her. The TLC personality, however, did admit in the caption of her Instagram post that sharing this slideshow terrified her. She was afraid to share her weight loss journey because she knew how judgmental Sister Wives fans (and just people in general) could be.
She admitted: “I made this reel and then chickened out from posting it.”

Initially, she only shared the final clip from this Instagram Reel. She, however, later made the decision to post the whole thing and embraced that which terrified her.
I am learning to embrace what is real, vulnerable and authentic. Time to walk the walk.
There was nothing but love in the comments from Sister Wives fans. Most encouraged her not to worry about what other people were thinking or saying and just continue living her best life. In a comment liked by many others, one fan reminded her that everyone was rooting for her success.
