Sister Wives fans always imagined that Christine Brown would eventually move on with someone new. However, not many suspected she would be engaged to a new man around 18 months after leaving Kody Brown.
But now, Christine and David Woolley are engaged and planning their wedding. They’ve even bought a house together already — something that would have been absolutely forbidden in the world where Christine grew up.
It’s obvious that the Sister Wives star is in a much healthier headspace since she left Kody and moved on. But what’s her favorite part about starting a new chapter of her life?

Some fans expressed concern when Christine Brown formally announced her engagement to David Woolley. The pair hadn’t been a public couple for very long and there’s really no telling how long they dated privately.
But as long as Christine is happy, so are her fans. Based on what she’s shared publically, David Woolley seems to be down-to-earth and caring.
So what is Christine Brown’s favorite part about being engaged?
It’s pretty clear — she loves being closer to her children.
When Kody Brown and the rest of the wives relocated to Flagstaff, they left many of their adult children behind. Several of the Brown family children put down roots in Las Vegas, while others moved back to Utah.
Now, Christine and David Woolley have a place of their own in Utah. The reality TV star couldn’t be happier with her new setup.
“It’s a nice day when I’m with my kids and it’s an amazing day when they’re making food with me in the kitchen,” she captioned a recent Instagram post. “I’ve been having the time of my life living so close to so many of my children again.”

Will Sister Wives Season 18 explore the big engagement?
Although there really aren’t any “sister wives” any longer, the series will be back for Season 18 sometime this year. And now, fans are curious — will the big proposal be part of this season’s storylines?
According to The Sun, it will certainly be featured in some capacity.
“All I heard was that it was filmed and that they couldn’t really talk must about the proposal, even to their closest relatives,” an insider reportedly told the publication. “He’s a pretty simple guy, so he kept it simple. It was low-key.”
