Scheana Shay Talks Sandoval Friendship, Ariana’s New Man

Scheana Shay Talks Sandoval Friendship, Ariana’s New Man

The cast of Vanderpump Rules literally went to one side when Tom Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Leviss was exposed. It seemed that Sandoval’s only ally was his best friend and business partner, Tom Schwartz. The rest were all team Ariana and were completely done with Sandoval and Leviss. This is not without good reason. They had been having a months-long affair while he was still living with Ariana, who he’d been with for nine years. It also seemed that they were eviscerated at the Season 10 reunion. Due to a TRO filed by Raquel, she and Scheana Shay both attended but could not film together.

When Scheana appeared on WWHL Wednesday night, it was asked if Tom Sandoval could ever come back into the friend group. Keep in mind, a lot of the cast has done some shady stuff. Jax Taylor slept with Kristen Doute twice while she was dating Sandoval and the two guys were best friends. They were back to besties by the next season. However, this seems to have gone a lot deeper and Shay says that there is no coming back. She believes that Raquel and Sandoval can film together while the rest of the cast films on their own.

It then shifted to Ariana Madix’s new man, Daniel Wai. He lives in NYC and though Ariana claims she is a free woman, she was spotted kissing Wai at LAX when she dropped him off. He partied with Scheana Shay and friends at Coachella. For her part, Scheana maintained that she really liked him. She did not divulge the relationship status but did say that she is a fan. So, hopefully, Ariana is moving on and up in the best way possible.

The Future Of The Show

Since Scandoval broke, Vanderpump Rules has been doing incredibly well. Fans are looking for clues as to when the affair actually started. Some were spotted on Wednesday night’s show and the week prior. It would be crazy for the show to not go on. However, it will be tricky for the cast to film certain moments and go to Schwartz/Sandoval-owned restaurants without feeling uncomfortable. Scheana Shay has made it clear that Raquel Leviss and Tom Sandoval are alienated from the group. Yet, if the fans want it and the ratings are high enough, plus if Ariana has a new man, Season 11 could wrap up some majorly loose ends.
