‘Pawn Stars’ Chumlee Not Sleeping In His Own Bed: What Is He Up To Now?
Chumlee, the Pawn Stars fan favorite recently dished that he has not been sleeping in his own bed of late. Who or what is keeping the History Channel star from sleeping at home? More so, what is this reality star doing these days? Lastly, why isn’t he back home in Vegas?

Chumlee Reports He Misses ‘Sleeping In My Bed Every Night’
On Monday, Chumlee spoke to the Las Vegas Review-Journal about filming more episodes of the Pawn Stars spinoff series, Pawn Stars Do America. They are currently filming Season 2 for the History Channel. This means traveling for over half of the year looking for treasures, not waiting for others to come to the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas as they do in the OG.
We’re going to be traveling for seven months, doing a bunch of cities again, so we’re along for the ride.
The trio of Rick Harrison, Corey Harrison, and Austin Lee Russell, better known as Chumlee, are visiting 15 different American cities in search of historical items. They start out in Tampa, Florida, and crisscross America to cities like Minneapolis, Minnesota, all the way to Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is up from eight cities in the first season.
In this series, they go to the source of the historical object. Moreover, this adds a whole other dimension to the OG series.
Truly, the sacrifice is real. More so, Chum misses his own warm bed.
I will say, I do miss working from home and sleeping in my bed every night.
Ironically, they are doing a segment in Las Vegas. But will it be enough? The 40-year-old reality star repeated how agonizing it was being away from home. “For me, personally, the biggest challenge is not having the comfort of my home.”
Chumlee confirmed that the tour is grueling. “Last season, we did like 18 straight days on the road. So it was pretty brutal.”
Odds are, with twice as many cities, the trio could beat this road record.
When Will Pawn Stars Do America Season 2 Premiere?
The premiere of Pawn Stars Do America with Rick Harrison, Corey Harrison, and Chumlee will be sometime in 2024. History has not yet pinpointed an exact date.
That is because the trio has just started filming the new season and each city makes a public announcement. Then, normal folks with interesting historical items come out to have them check out their hopefully valuable items.
What can make this spinoff series even more interesting is that they may travel to the historical site and check out where the artifact originated. However, this makes it very fun for the reality stars and the viewers of the new series.
Currently, the OG series is airing on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m., Eastern, on the History Channel.
