Zade Stewart turns one!
On March 27, 2023, Zade celebrated his first birthday! Carlin Bates and Evan Stewart’s second child is growing up quickly. Since his birth in 2022, fans have had a chance to watch him grow up on social media and YouTube, thanks to Carlin and Evan’s frequent updates.
Online, the Bringing Up Bates stars have posted cute milestone updates, videos of their son on the move, and much more.
After celebrating Zade’s first birthday, Carlin took to social media to share how things went wrong.

A couple of weeks after Zade’s birthday, Carlin took to Instagram to reveal things didn’t go quite as well as they had planned. They had a huge party for him at their house and many friends and family members came out for the occasion. When it was time for Zade’s smash cake, however, he was not a happy camper. He started crying and looked very upset as his parents and big sister Layla encouraged him to dig into the sweet treat.

In her caption, Carlin asked, “Was I the only one expecting a different reaction for this moment?”
Then, she pointed out that Layla helped herself to some cake off of her brother’s high chair tray. Carlin added, “At least sister was a fan.”
Kelly Jo Bates commented, “It was too cute! His little expression! He wasn’t having it at all!!! 😂”
Then, Katie Bates Clark added that she was “dying” over these hysterical photos. Despite Zade’s smash cake being unsuccessful, he certainly gave his family, friends, and fans a good laugh.
