‘Below Deck Sailing Yacht’: Daisy Dishes On Her Hook-Up With Colin

Below Deck Sailing Yacht star Daisy Kelliher dished on her hook-up with engineer Colin McRae. Fans want to know if there’s a romance blooming between them. Daisy and Colin never expressed interest in each other before. It came as a surprise when they locked lips in the Season 4 trailer.

This also came as a surprise to First Mate Gary King, who expressed interest in Daisy before. He told her in Season 2 that he had a crush on her. Daisy turned him down, even after their steamy makeout session in the hot tub in Season 3. Gary thinks she’s trying to stick it to him with her hook-up with Colin.

In a new interview with In Touch Weekly, Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 star Daisy Kelliher talked about her boatmance with Colin. The two went from crew members to friends to lovers. The chief stew dished on their hook-up and how it happened. For the past few seasons, Colin was in a relationship, which is why nothing happened between them before.

“I knew Colin was single and there’s kind of always been something between me and Colin,” Daisy told In Touch Weekly. “So, in a way, I was surprised, but I also wasn’t surprised, if that makes sense.”

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 trailer came out last month. Fans noticed that the two make out in the bunk. Daisy could feel the chemistry between them. She wanted to see where things would take them this season.

There were moments when their hands would brush or they would steal glances at each other. Daisy could feel the sparks. She joked that she would get “friend-zoned” because of Colin’s past relationships. Ultimately, Daisy never expected anything to happen, even if she put the feelers out there.

“We’re also very different, so I wasn’t sure how compatible we were. But yeah, I guess we were both single and ready to make out,” Daisy told In Touch.

Is there a Below Deck Sailing Yacht romance?

Daisy admitted that she was always attracted to Colin. However, she had no idea whether he felt the same way about her. The more she got to know him during their time on Below Deck Sailing Yacht, the more she liked him. Daisy teased they have a “complicated and long journey ahead” on the show. She wouldn’t reveal if they’re having a real-life romance.

“I’ve definitely seen him in the last few months… in what capacity, you’ll have to wait and see,” Daisy said.

As for Gary, Daisy feels that he divulged his feelings for her too late. He missed out on a possible relationship with her. Gary and Colin are best friends and bunkmates, which will put a strain on their relationship as well. Daisy admitted that she didn’t want to hurt their friendship.
