‘Cash App’ Founder Bob Lee Dead At 43: Murdered In San Francisco

Shocking breaking news: Bob Lee, the founder of Cash App, has been confirmed dead at the age of 43. He was reportedly murdered in San Fransisco. 

Originally reported by NBC Bay Area, the Cash App founder Bob Lee was reportedly rushed to a hospital yesterday morning in San Fransisco. He was reportedly stabbed and later died of his injuries at the hospital. The stabbing was reported to authorities around 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning.

Unfortunately, there doesn’t appear to be a lot of information available about what happened to Bob Lee beyond the fact that he was fatally stabbed early Tuesday morning in San Fransisco. Arrests regarding the stabbing have yet to be made and no information about the alleged suspect(s) has been made public at this time.

Bob Lee Dead At 43: He Was Very Successful And Driven

Best known as the founder of Cash App, Bob Lee was an extremely successful and driven individual. He accomplished a lot during his 43 years of life and he had a brilliant mind that will be missed by society.

At the time of his passing, Bob Lee was the current CPO of a company called MobileCoin. He was previously the CTO of a mobile payment app called Square. And, he even spent an earlier portion of his career working for Google.

The CEO of MobileCoin, Joshua Goldbard is brokenhearted to learn of Bob Lee’s passing and says he will miss him dearly.

“Bob was a force of nature. Helped to birth Android and CashApp into our world. Moby was his dream: a privacy protecting wallet for the 21st Century. I will miss him every day.”

Sadly, this is still a breaking/developing story which will be updated as more information becomes available about what happened to Bob Lee.
