Whitney Bates Reveals How Kids Feel About New Baby Sister
Former Bringing Up Bates star Whitney Bates revealed to fans what her kids think after learning they’re getting a new baby sister. Zach Bates and his wife proudly announced their fifth baby’s gender in a special reveal last weekend. And now, the kids’ reactions have been posted too. So, what do Bradley, Kaci, Khloé, and Jadon think? Keep reading for all of the details.
Zach and Whitney are currently expecting their fifth baby. The new addition is due to arrive in August 2023, so it won’t be long before fans officially get the chance to “meet” her. The couple recently revealed the baby’s gender, and of course, their four kids had a lot to say.
Zach & Whitney Bates’ Gender Reveal Details
As TV Shows Ace reported, Zach and Whitney had an intimate gender reveal with their four kids. They set up a picnic, complete with cupcakes filled with pink icing. As they bit into the cupcakes, they saw the color pink and realized the baby is a girl!
Evan Stewart and Carlin Bates helped with the reveal and filmed it for the family. At this point, Whitney and Zach have not announced a name, but their daughter Khloé wants to use Whitney’s name for the baby.
What Do The Kids Think?
In a separate Instagram post, Whitney Bates offered some insight into her kids’ feelings about having a baby sister. Kaci was very excited to learn that the baby is a girl and jumped up and down to celebrate. At first, when Bradley saw the pink icing, he had a sad look on his face. But ultimately, he came around to the idea of having a little sister and was dancing around by the end of the video.
Whitney explained, “Can you tell Brad was voting for a boy? All is well though.. he said he’ll just teach Jadon how to hold her and be a gentle big brother ‘like he is.'”
Little Khloé looked as happy as ever when she learned that she has a baby sister on the way. Jadon will only be two years old this summer, so he doesn’t quite understand what’s going on yet.
