General Hospital star Briana Lane’s husband of six years, John Lange, has been confirmed dead. The ABC soap star took to Instagram last week to share the tragic news.

General Hospital: Briana Lane’s husband dies
As those who are familiar with her know, Briana Lane starred in General Hospital as Brook Lynn. She was a temporary replacement for Amanda Setton. It was on March 12th that she took to Instagram to reveal the tragic news. Her husband of six years was dead. Briana Lane decided not to reveal any details regarding her husband’s cause of death. She, however, did pay a very sweet tribute to him.
The General Hospital star shared a black-and-white photo of her husband and penned: “I will love you forever my sweet John. Til we meet again.”

The black-and-white photo featured Briana with her arms lovingly wrapped around her husband’s neck as she looked up into his eyes with her face close to his. She had her nose scrunched up with a cute smile on her face. In the comments, her followers agreed the photo was adorable and the couple’s love for each other really oozed off the picture.

General Hospital fans’ hearts were broken for Briana and many of her co-stars reassured her they were there for her if she needed anything at all.

As She Knows Soaps recalls, Briana Lane described her life as a “sweet blur” after she married her husband, John. Briana said a few months into her marriage with John:
It’s weird how time just floats by without you knowing it. I feel like the last five months slid by and we got married yesterday. I imagine that’s how it will feel like when we’re older.”
General Hospital fans are heartbroken that Briana Lane won’t get to grow old with her husband John as she had planned.
