Whitney Way Thore Updates On Papa Glenn After Babs’ Death
It’s been a little over three months since Whitney Way Thore broke the terrible news that her mother Babs passed away. As hard as Babs death was on Whitney, fans can only assume it was even harder on Papa Glenn who has suddenly found himself alone.
Naturally, fans of My Big Fat Fabulous Life are more than a little eager for an update on how Glenn Thore is doing following the death of Babs. Fortunately, Whitney Way Thore took to Instagram last night to give fans exactly what they wanted. An update on how her father was doing.

Now, Whitney Way Thore’s Instagram post did not include a caption. But, it did include a collection of photos of herself and her father Glenn. In the comments, fans admit they were always thinking about Glenn and they wondered often how he was doing following Babs’ death.
Whitney’s father does have his own Instagram account, though he has only posted on it a handful of times. His most recent post was back on Valentine’s Day when he wished his son a happy birthday from himself and his deceased wife Babs. While this post served as a sign of life, it didn’t really give fans many ideas about how he was doing.
Whitney Way Thore, however, got fans some more candid shots of her father as it appears she spent some time with him recently.

The MBFFL star shared several photos on her Instagram last night that included herself and her father. Fans were happy to see that Glenn looked well and appeared to be getting out and living life.
Whitney’s followers, however, also admit it made their hearts a bit sad to see he was still wearing his wedding ring. Though, they assumed he would take it off when he was ready. This is, however, assuming he intends to ever take it off at all.
For the most part, there was nothing but love and well wishes in the comments for Glenn and his father Whitney. Fans, however, did what they could to gently nudge Whitney to make sure she was there for her father as much as possible. Some fans added that he would definitely need her if he jumped back into the dating pool.
One fan added: “Eyes are the windows to the soul. Pushing through the motions during grief isn’t an easy task. We love you both. One minute at a time.”
“Please take care of OUR Glenn!” Another chimed in.
A third penned: “I bet your dad looks at you every day and smiles because he sees so much of your mother in you.”
Overall, fans appreciated Whitney Way Thore giving them an update on how Glenn was doing a few months after Babs passed away.
