Michelle follows these same guidelines. As some of her daughters have gotten married and started wearing tank tops or jeans, she continues to keep her body covered up.
Despite these strict rules, she did surprise her followers with a slightly more revealing outfit at the beach.

On Reddit, Duggar Snarkers shared a recently resurfaced photo of Michelle at the beach. The photo was taken six years ago when she was in the Bahamas. But for some reason, someone recently uncovered it and shared it online again.
In the snap, Michelle is fully clothed. She’s wearing a long-sleeved shirt with a black skirt that falls past her knees. It looks like she may have both leggings and tights underneath her skirt, as well as a pair of shoes that fully cover her feet. She didn’t wear sandals or flip-flops like most people would at the beach.
But she has pushed her sleeves up to her elbows. Now, for most people, this would not be a big deal at all. Her outfit is very modest, especially for a beach day. But fans are surprised just because she’s a member of the Duggar family and seldom shows this much skin.
