Katie Bates Warns Fans About Scammers, What’s Going On?
Former Bringing Up Bates star Katie Bates and her husband Travis Clark are warning fans about scammers. Unfortunately, something concerning is going on online, and they’re afraid their followers might fall victim to it. What happened? And what did Katie share about it? Recently, Katie and Travis have had a lot to celebrate. But things aren’t all positive as they face some issues online. Unfortunately, being in the public eye and having so many followers comes with plenty of downsides. People sometimes take advantage of the followers of celebrities and influencers.
Katie Bates & Travis Clark celebrate a milestone.
On YouTube, Katie and Travis recently hit a big milestone. The couple now has over 100,000 subscribers. They hit this milestone shortly after welcoming their baby girl, Hailey James, to the world. After Hailey’s birth, the couple shared several videos, documenting labor and delivery. They also shared a video as they brought their little one home from the hospital.
In a YouTube community post, the pair revealed they had hit this milestone and said, “We couldn’t have done it without you all, and we appreciate each and every one of you!”

While sharing about their 100,000 subscriber milestone, Katie and Travis also revealed to fans that they are dealing with a scammer. They said:
“If you receive a reply from us from a Telegram account claiming to be us, PLEASE REPOT IT – IT’S NOT US! We have tried removing and reporting the account several times!”
They added that it’s “even better” if fans have no idea what this post means.

In their post, Travis and Katie didn’t go into detail about what the scammer is saying or doing. But it sounds like it got bad enough that the couple wanted to bring it to their fans’ attention.

Of course, after reading Katie and Travis’ new post, fans are disappointed. It sounds like the Bates couple isn’t the only YouTube family being imitated on Telegram. Hopefully, the scam is addressed quickly and none of Katie and Travis’ followers fall victim to it.
