Some fans fear Charity Lawson as the new Bachelorette, why?
There are rumors flying throughout Bachelor Nation that Charity Lawson could be named The Bachelorette at the Women Tell All. Some fans are excited while others fear her being named the new lead.
It seems some fans think if Charity is the new lead for the 2023 season she will do nothing but cry. Fans have seen Charity cry throughout Zach Shallcross’ season but her hometown date was the worst yet. Many think all she did was cry the entire time. One fan even joked that Charity told her family to cry as well.
Many fans went to Twitter to express their concern. Some praised her makeup for staying in place after crying so much, while others simply wanted her to be okay. Then, there were some who simply do not want her as the lead because they feel she will cry her season. Some even went so far as to say that Zach possibly sent her home because of all her crying.
It’s true Charity did spend a lot of time crying during hometowns. She cried at various times throughout the entire day. However, even with all the crying she did, there are still many who do hope to see her as The Bachelorette. Plus, it seems one thing everyone could agree on is how great her family is.

She said goodbye to Zach
Fans saw the heartbreaking goodbye between Zach and Charity Monday night. Today, she shared her thoughts on the whole experience and her exit. She went to Instagram to share her thoughts. She thanked Bachelor Nation for all the love and support. Charity also thanked producers for being there for her every step of the way. Plus, she thanked Zach for allowing her to be on his journey.
Charity noted she wishes nothing but the best for Zach and the woman he chooses. She said, “To Zach, thank you for allowing me to be apart of your journey. You provided a constant safe space showing grace, compassion, and always allowed me to share parts of myself that were hidden. I wish you nothing but the best as your journey continues!”
