DWTS fans couldn’t be happier that the series will return to Disney+ for another season this fall. However, things might look a little bit different ahead of Season 32.

Each new season brings new changes, new cast members, and a few big surprises. For example, Season 31 was the first season to air on Disney+. So what new changes are the exec team members plotting now?

DWTS is getting a new home for Season 32

Each and every year, Dancing With The Stars fans tune in to see their favorite celebrities compete for a chance at the Mirrorball Trophy. There have been many unexpected surprises over the last few years. Most fans vividly remember Shangela’s chicken leg incident from last fall.

But this year, the DWTS cast is headed to a new location.

Distractify reports that Television City is undergoing some massive renovations this year, which means several shows that film there will need to temporarily relocate.

Shows that will be moving filming locations include The Price Is Right, The Young and the Restless, American Idol, and of course, Dancing With The Stars.

Will the competition be the same without the iconic ballroom fans have come to know and love?

The construction project is supposed to dramatically improve the studio.

According to Distractify, the “plan for Television City would raise the number of stages to at least 15, from eight, along with production support facilities and offices for rent. The four original stages built by CBS at the campus’ launch in 1952 would be preserved, along with other historical design elements created by Los Angeles architect William Pereira.”

DWTS execs are reportedly still looking for a new place to film Season 32 this fall. But with any luck, it will still be the same show fans adore.

Could an old fan favorite make his grand return?

Pro dancers come and go every year. Mark Ballas shocked fans when he reemerged last season after a years-long absence. But now, many fans are ready for another former pro to come back.

According to Peta Murgatroyd, her husband Maks Chmerkovskiy would make the perfect replacement for Len Goodman. Rumor has it that the exec team is planning to have only three judges. But that won’t stop Maks from trying at least.

“Of course. He would love to do that. I don’t know. I think that’s his next step,” the Australian dancer recently told Us Weekly. “… He loves to talk. You know Maks, he will talk your ear off.”

Even though Maks and Peta have a new baby on the way, she’s fully prepared to return as a pro this fall. Time will tell if Maks will get a chance to join her.
