Carlin Bates Gets Emotional While Ending Life Chapter

Every weekend, Carlin and her husband, Evan Stewart, share a new YouTube video to give fans a peek into their lives. Fans often get to see what the couple is up to with 11-month-old Zade and three-year-old Layla. Their views have a chance to witness both the ups and the downs along the way.
Most recently, Carlin was forced to say goodbye and close a door, which proved to be pretty challenging and emotional.

In their new YouTube video, which they released this past weekend, Carlin Bates and Evan Stewart revealed to fans that they were saying goodbye to one part of their lives. Sadly, they decided to sell Carlin’s first car. This is the car she bought with her own money, which was a huge deal, of course.
But sadly, the time has come for them to let go of the car and become a one-car family. The car has been sitting for a while and isn’t being used much anymore. Carlin said she’d rather sell it to someone who can actually use it right now.

Why have Carlin Bates & Evan Stewart made this decision?
Also in the video, Carlin and Evan explained to fans their reasoning for getting rid of her car. As fans may know, Carlin has been dealing with mysterious health issues, including seizure-like episodes. Because of this, she isn’t allowed to drive. She has to be seizure-free for a certain amount of time before getting behind the wheel, and it doesn’t look like that will be happening any time soon.
So, since Evan has to drive Carlin and the kids everywhere, there isn’t really a reason for her to have her own car. It’s unclear when she will be cleared to drive again. When that time comes, the couple may choose to get a second car. But for now, it just makes more sense for them to share one vehicle. Though this is a sad time, it sounds like Carlin and Evan think they are making the right choice.
