In case you missed the news, this weekend, Jackson and Emerson announced their engagement! Many members of the Bates family hopped on social media to wish them the best as they embark on this next chapter of their lives together.
Now, just days after getting engaged, wedding planning appears to be underway.
Emerson Wells says yes to the dress!
On Instagram, Emerson’s profile is private, so fans can’t see her photos. Fortunately, one of her family members offered some insight into the early wedding plans she and Jackson are already making. On Instagram, Emerson’s sister Kenzie Wells Contestabile shared a post about the engagement. In the series of photos, there are also a couple of snaps of Emerson holding a sign that reads, “The future Mrs. Bates said yes to her One & Only dress.”
One & Only is a bridal boutique located in Orlando, Florida. The photos feature a date stamp of March 11, 2023, so she acted pretty quickly to find a dress after getting engaged.

Bringing Up Bates fans predict Jackson & Emerson’s wedding date.
On Reddit, fans are talking about when Jackson and Emerson might tie the knot. Since they seem to be moving quickly now that they are engaged, it’s possible it won’t be long before their wedding day is here.
One fan said, “I’m going to guess the wedding will be in May or June!”
Someone else added, “This could be an extremely quick wedding.”
Some thought she could have found a dress once things got serious with Jackson but before they were engaged. However, Bringing Up Bates fans realized that Emerson is wearing an engagement ring in her dress-shopping photos, so it looks like she waited until she was actually engaged to go shopping.
One fan pointed out that Emerson might have wanted to include some of Jackson’s relatives when she went dress-shopping. Since the proposal was in Florida and several family members were in town for the occasion, it’s possible she didn’t want to wait to find a dress.
As of now, none of the Bringing Up Bates family members have revealed the wedding date or month. So, fans will just have to wait and see what happens.
