1000-Lb. Sisters fans are eager to know more about Tammy Slaton’s husband Caleb Willingham and his weight loss journey. More specifically, fans wonder if he’s been successful at getting approved for weight loss surgery as well. Is he going to get the surgery so he can start a new thinner life with his beautiful wife? Has Caleb Willingham had weight loss surgery yet?
With Tammy Slaton making such incredible progress with her weight loss journey, fans have turned their attention to her husband Caleb and his progress. More specifically, fans are asking if her husband Caleb Willingham has had weight loss surgery yet.
In a recent update on his Facebook page, Caleb revealed he was able to take just a handful of steps by himself before having to sit down. This can be compared to his wife Tammy who is presentably able to take about 200 unassisted steps at the moment.
Unfortunately, recent photos and videos of Caleb Willingham also suggest he may still have a trach even though his wife Tammy has been successful in getting hers removed.
With what updates fans have been able to dig up via social media, it does not appear as if Caleb has had weight loss surgery just yet. In fact, it appears as if TLC could possibly shift the focus of the series to follow Caleb’s journey to weight loss surgery now that he was part of the family.
Where is he living right now?
Knowing he hasn’t had weight loss surgery yet, fans wonder where he is living these days. After all, his wife Tammy is no longer at the facility. And, she appears to be slowly getting back to living more of a full life. Is Caleb living with his wife or is he still at the facility getting help?
Unfortunately, there is no evidence to suggest he’s made enough progress to leave the facility and still has a lot of work to do. So, it appears as if he is still living at the facility.

I would love for TLC to follow Caleb weight loss surgery.
In just the few times we’ve seen Caleb on the show, he’s brought up foods to Tammy that they aren’t allowed to eat. THAT is no good for her. I don’t see the big desire to change in him and my fear is him bringing her down with him. I think they should have been boyfriend/girlfriend until he proved that he’s on the same path as her & has approval for weight loss surgery. I agree with Chris, I don’t want to see Tammy come so far and then still be a prisoner to Caleb’s weight.

I would like to see them follow Calen. he needs to get more serious and do whatever it takes to be approved. I don’t think Tammy wants to be a widow
Please do not follow Caleb on his weight loss. We all want him to loose the weight and be with Tammy, but if you follow him it will be like he only joined the show for that reason. I want to see him do it not for the money, but for Tammy.
If Caleb loses the weight to qualify for surgery then I think I would be interested in watching his journey continue, but not until then. All us fans of the show want to be certain Caleb didn’t marry just for the fame of being on the show.
