In the past, fans have gotten upset with the 24-year-old for sharing so many personal, private details about her family’s lives. Carlin is the mom of 11-month-old Zade and three-year-old Layla. Because she’s so active on social media, she’s often sharing about both the ups and downs they have each day. From the fun outings that they go on to her unresolved health issues, fans get to see it all.
However, fans especially dislike when Carlin and her husband Evan post embarrassing content about their kids. Recently, they talked about Layla’s potty-training progress. In an older video, Carlin recorded Layla pooping in her diaper. Fans feel that the couple shares a little too much with fans and humiliates their children in the process.

Now, Carlin has shared another post that might have been best left private. On her Instagram Stories this week, Carlin took fans along as she and her family enjoyed an outing at the park. While sharing lots of sweet moments with her social media followers, she posted something that took them by surprise.
She posted a picture of Zade’s backside in a pair of pants at the park. She covered up his diaper area with a poop emoji, suggesting his diaper had leaked. She said, “Ended the afternoon short because Z man had a blowout.” Then, she said it was “real life.”

On Reddit, a Bringing Up Bates fan reposted this photo of Zade and slammed Carlin for posting it. One fan said, “You don’t need to put your kid on blast to thousands of random people.”
Someone else agreed and said, “I will literally never understand why parents post pics of their children’s poop on social media…”
“I hate when parents do this. Your child is going to grow up, and the internet is forever. Have some respect for their privacy,” added another Bringing Up Bates fan.
It’s unclear if Carlin will end up changing her ways. But fans certainly hope she does so she stops publicly humiliating her children.

My thoughts on this: If you don’t like it, stop following them and move on. It’s Carlin & Evan’s decisions to make. There is no need to consult with any of you. I’m sure if they want your negative input, they’ll ask for it. Humiliation I’m sure is a word the kids won’t define until they are at least six!
