The American Pickers star is acting as if the show is doing well. He’s feeling energetic and excited about the new episode. Mike Wolfe posted a new clip for the upcoming episode. He visits the Packard Plant in Detroit. New episodes of American Pickers air on Wednesday.

On Monday, March 6, Mike took to his Instagram Stories to share the clip. He also reposted it on his feed. In the clip, Mike walks into the center with his brother Robbie. They’re both in amazement over the place.

“Ever since watching the show Anthony Bourdain did on the Packard Plant in Detroit I’ve wanted to see it for myself,” Mike Wolfe wrote. “His storytelling along with the visuals took Urban Exploration to the next level. Well, I finally got my chance and even managed to buy something! Can’t wait to show you guys what we got up to in this week’s new @americanpickers episode.”

American Pickers returned on Wednesday, January 4, 2023. The History Channel series stars Mike Wolfe, Danielle Colby, and Robbie. The new timeslot affected the new season. They can’t keep up with the show anymore. It used to dominate the Saturday timeslot, but that’s not the case anymore.

Ratings for American Pickers plummet

As a result, the ratings for American Pickers have hit a new low. Per The U.S. Sun, the Wednesday, March 11 episode only amassed 711,000 viewers. Ratings have been on a steep decline ever since Frank Fritz was fired from the series. Surprisingly, the Season 24 premiere had a strong start.

Over 943,000 fans tuned into the new season starring Mike Wolfe and his castmates. The following episode is where the ratings started to plummet. Only 797,000 viewers tuned in. Some have accused the show of “selling out” by having guest celebrities. Others demanded fan-favorite Frank back.

They’re more curious about his well-being. In July 2022, he suffered a massive stroke and ended up in a debilitating situation where he is under a conservatorship. Back in December, the paparazzi Mike Wolfe asked if he would be open to repairing his broken friendship with Frank. He asked for prayers and said there’s a “100 percent” chance for him to return on the show as long as he gets healthy first.
