Instead of a new NCIS episode, CBS is airing a repeat episode from earlier in Season 20 called “Love Lost.” This episode premiered on Monday, November 14, 2022.
According to the IMDb synopsis, a man comes over to the HQ to get help. He tells the team that someone is trying to kill him. That person is his wife. She is the Secretary of the Navy. However, Vance does not believe him, due to some previous experience with this man.
This couple is having issues. Moreover, she wants a divorce, something that he is not willing to give her. Sounds like something for a marriage counselor, not this elite team. But, when they tell him that cannot do anything and ask him to leave, he collapses.
Once in the hospital, the diagnosis is an anxiety attack. But, Kasie has another prognosis. She thinks that he has been poisoned! Now, they need to speak to the Secretary of the Navy to question her.
Soon after, the team learns that this man has a gambling problem. But, his bookie says otherwise. When the team goes to the hospital to probe further, they find he is missing. But, when they go to find him, they find blood. Whose is it?
