Selena Gomez is the most-followed woman on Instagram

As of Thursday, February 23, Selena Gomez is the most-followed woman on Instagram. At the time of this writing, she has 392 million followers on the social media app. Selena beat out Kylie Jenner, who has 380 million followers. Kylie quickly lost those followers after she was accused of shading the former Disney star.

She nearly busted out of the tight black strapless dress. The dark-haired stunner wore her hair in a messy ponytail. Selena pulled at her hair as she enjoyed her drink in a restaurant. She previously shared these sultry photos before.

That post alone received over 19 million likes. In the caption, she also revealed that she was “taking a break from social media.” Selena returned to social media three days later. That’s when she found out that she was the most-followed woman on Instagram.

Meanwhile, Kylie and Hailey lost nearly 800k followers on their respective Instagram accounts. Selena Gomez started personally posting on social media in January. Four years ago, she deleted Instagram and gave her phone to a member of her team. She struggled with mental health and an unhealthy relationship with social media.

What brought her back was that infamous TikTok video in which she showed off her laminated eyebrows. Selena also shared that she wished she was as pretty as Bella Hadid. Kylie and Hailey were accused of “bullying” her. Kylie shared a closeup of her brows and a FaceTime conversation with Hailey that focused on their eye area.
