What did Al Roker say during his weather forecast?
On a recent broadcast of the Today Show, Al Roker the severe storms that were on the way. Most of the country has been hit with wild weather of some sort. The meteorologist told the viewers to “buckle up” as they get hit by some of the storms. There are blizzards in some parts of the country, and tornadoes and severe weather in others.
“That’s right, gang. Buckle up, it’s going to be literally a bumpy ride,” Al Roker shared. “15 million people right now from the plains all the way to the Southwest and the West Coast are under winter storm watches, advisories, blizzard warnings for the cascades — or the sierra, I should say.”
Al Roker mentioned the “dangerous winter storm” and “tornado risk for much of the south.” He then talked about the downpours that are taking place “in the mid-South into mid-Mississippi River valley.” If that wasn’t enough, the Northeast and other parts of the midwest, including Kansas City will experience snow and icy conditions.
“Tomorrow the threat level really ramps up,” Al Roker continued. “We are looking at the possibility of very strong tornadoes. It is going to be a very, very difficult next 72 hours.”
Back to work on the Today Show
Al Roker is back to work on the Today Show. Due to the storms and dangerous weather conditions, he’s been working overtime to deliver these reports. He took to Instagram to share a clip of his appearance on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt. Al has been working the evening shift as well as the early morning hours.
Al returned in January 2023, where he shared the details of his seven-hour surgery. Some of his fans took to his Instagram post to tell him to “take it easy.” They don’t want him to burn out and end up back in the hospital. Earlier this week, viewers noticed that Al Roker looked like he was “struggling” to get through an exercise segment on the show.
