Kim Zolciak’s Home Off Auction Block, What Happened?

Kim Zolciak’s home is now off of the auction block but how did that happen? Just the other day, her Georgia mansion was preparing to go into foreclosure. A date for the auction was set for March 7th yet somehow, this is a bullet she and her family have dodged. Yet, how did this happen and what changed? Read on for more details.

Kim Zolciak’s Home Off Auction Block, What Happened?

The RHOA alum denied that her home was going into foreclosure. Kim Zolciak stated that she would be there for a very long time until she was ready to leave. Even her daughters, Brielle and Ariana denied the struggles. However, it seemed like the family was just in denial over what was actually set to happen. Now, it looks like their wishes have come true and the tide has turned.

According to All About The Tea, the auction has been canceled but there is no set reason. The law office of Brooks & Scott, PLLC confirmed that the March 7th auction is no longer occurring. Initially, the reason for the auction/foreclosure was Kim and her husband Kroy Biermann’s failure to pay back their loan. They obtained it nearly eleven years ago for over 1.5 million dollars. Additionally, the couple added on to their home to make it more of what they wanted. This has only increased the value of their home.

The actual foreclosure process started last summer by Truist Bank. It then really took shape on February 22nd but why are they struggling financially? Kim and her family starred in the RHOA spinoff Don’t Be Tardy for several seasons until its finale in December 2020. She and her daughters also had their own bathing suit line and skincare company. Yet, it seems that Kim Zolciak overspent and she allegedly mostly spent her funds on psychics and a gambling problem. She then became desperate and was getting rid of any valuables that she could to make money.

Fans Are Not Happy

While Kim Zolciak, Kroy, and their six kids are currently sitting pretty in their mansion (for now), followers are not happy. They seem to be in disbelief that Kim and company skated by and avoided a serious foreclosure. “What in the white privilege is this. Kim & Kroy are broke and unemployed with bad credit. How is the bank making deals with them?” someone posted. Someone else added: “Kim’s voodoo must be working or she’s selling tail on the side because this sh*t don’t make no sense.” Finally, a last person noted: “Kim’s house is saved again, that ole white privilege is doing what do. I knew this was going to happen.”
