‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Fans Rally As Amy Halterman Breaks Down
1000-Lb. Sisters cast member, Amy Halterman has had a tough time lately. She has two small boys that have been giving her a run for her money. All Amy ever wanted was to be a mother and now she is breaking down because of it. Her fans have started to really pull for her. Now they are rallying for her as she breaks down yet again. Amy Halterman’s Struggles
In the most recent episode of 1000-Lb. Sisters, fans were blindsided by a moment at the family barbeque. Amy Halterman was trying to take care of both of her sons. Meanwhile, Michael Halterman, her husband, was stuffing his face, doing absolutely nothing to help. This really struck a chord with the viewers. In one of Amy’s recent posts on Instagram, Amy shared an adorable photo with her and Glenn. The number of kind comments that she received was unreal.
After her fans watched the episode and saw her in so much emotional turmoil, they wanted to share the love. One wrote, “Amy, I never miss an episode of your show. You made me cry when you were questioning if you are a good mom. You are absolutely a great mom!” Another added, “My whole heart felt yours when you cried ta the picnic. I think most moms have had moments of doubt, thinking how can we do all this.” Overall, it looks like Amy has gotten a lot of love.
TLC & The Sisters
Recently, it came out that Amy and her sister, Tammy Slaton make a very small amount of money from TLC. After seeing their wages, fans were distraught for them. More so, their fans feel as if they shouldn’t have to pay for weight loss surgery on their own. In fact, it came out that Tammy even paid for the weight loss rehab facility. This is why she can barely get by these days. Apparently, Amy does make more money since TLC has contracts with her children as well.
Even though Amy makes more money, fans want to know what she does with it. It does seem as if the Haltermans are struggling to pay bills and that is why Michael continues to work. They were able to buy a house last year, so that could be the main expense. According to a source close to Amy, she uses her sons’ money to add to their college fund and has not touched it. More so, she is doing her best to make sure they have the best life possible.
