Mari Pepin-Solis, Kenny Braasch Share Wedding Update
Bachelor in Paradise fan favorite couple Mari Pepin-Solis and Kenny Braasch are getting closer to heading to the altar. It looks like after being engaged for nearly two years the couple finally plans to wed in 2023. Keep reading to find out all the details Mari has shared with fans.
Mari Pepin-Solis dishes on wedding planning
US Weekly caught up with Mari Pepin-Solis to talk about how wedding planning is going for her and Kenny. She said, “It’s been a lot of fun to plan the wedding. I think we’re still in the preliminary stages, we’re still trying to source some vendors and get the major things booked.” Mari continued, “We’ve done a lot of research and we’ve just been having a good time with it. A lot of times wedding planning can be boring and stressful and as much as it is a lot of work, I think we’re just trying to have a good time with it.”
Mari shared that they are getting married in Puerto Rico, which most fans already knew. She said the big day will be taking place in November 2023. She and Kenny have decided to have two weddings. One in Puerto Rico and the other in Chicago. Mari is from Puerto Rico and just always envisioned getting married there.

As for her wedding dress, she has picked out what she wants. In fact, she shared there will be multiple dresses on her two big wedding days. Recently, Kenny’s mom and sister went with her dress shopping. Her own mom lives overseas and wasn’t able to join in on the fun.
Mari found what she was looking for but as it turns out it is nothing as she had originally envisioned.
Mari said, “The style I ended up choosing completely caught me off guard. I have a couple different styles, so I was able to mix it up and throw in different styles that look nothing like each other, which is cool.” She continued, “But the dress for my main wedding, the one in Puerto Rico, I envisioned myself in something very sleek and sexy and almost more pageant-like — I have no idea why I never envisioned myself in anything else, but suddenly I’m on Pinterest and I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, no, I love this style.’ And I ended up going with something so different.”
They met on the beach
Mari and Kenny met during Bachelor in Paradise. They had a bumpy start but once they realized it was each other they wanted they were inseparable. Now, they are still engaged and getting ready to tie the knot.
Fans have loved following Mari and Kenny’s journey from the beach to moving in together in Chicago. Now, they will soon be able to share their journey of being husband and wife.
