‘Bringing Up Bates’ Star Alyssa Webster Explains Disappearance
Former Bringing Up Bates star Alyssa Webster is offering an explanation for her disappearance. The soon-to-be mom of five has been pretty quiet, and it looks like several fans are getting concerned. She’s finally setting the record straight and addressing her fans’ fears. What happened? Where has she been? Keep reading to get all of the details.

Alyssa used to be pretty active on social media, often sharing photos and videos of her four daughters, Allie, Lexi, Zoey, and Maci. She would offer peeks into their lives, show off their Sunday best outfits for church, and much more.
Recently, however, fans have noticed that she’s been much less active. There was some speculation about this online, but fans assumed she was just busy with the kids. Plus, she’s pregnant with baby number five, so that may be taking a toll on her health-wise. Of course, some fans were concerned about her disappearance and wanted to make sure everything was okay.
During a recent Q&A video on YouTube, Alyssa and her husband John sat down to chat with fans and respond to the many questions they submitted. They addressed several different topics, from family feuds to her current pregnancy.

One Bringing Up Bates fan wanted to know why Alyssa hasn’t been as active on Instagram lately. Typically, the mother of four shares lots of photos and videos of her kids throughout the day. But recently, she’s backed off a bit and disappeared from social media.
In response to the fan’s question, Alyssa explained, “Honest answer. I’m gonna be real with you.” She said that she does like social media and appreciates having the opportunity to welcome fans into her real life. However, there are downsides to it, of course.
The former Bringing Up Bates star continued, “Especially with Instagram, it’s super easy to get caught up in being on Instagram and posting content and creating content and putting out stuff that you’re interested in that get views or that get likes. There’s a lot that goes into that and the algorithm.”
She ultimately felt like she was neglecting parts of her “home life” because she was so distracted by Instagram and all of the expectations on social media. She went on to share an example, explaining, “Sometimes, if the kids would come to me and say, ‘Oh, mom, can we do this or that?’ Or ‘Can you read with us?’ And I would say, ‘Oh, in just a second. Just let me post this story.’”
Unfortunately, time would get away from her and she would forget to do the things she promised her kids she would do.
She found that there was too much pressure to continue to post online. She stepped back, which was beneficial for both her marriage and her kids. With her kids being so young, she wants to make sure she’s meeting their needs.
