Though Amy isn’t one of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 kids, she has racked up quite a few social media followers thanks to the family’s name. Her mom, Deanna Duggar, is Jim Bob’s sister. So, Amy is Jim Bob’s niece. She appeared on episodes of 19 Kids & Counting and Counting On over the years.
On Instagram, Amy has over 430,000 followers who enjoy seeing updates about her life. She often posts about herself, her husband Dillon, and their three-year-old son Daxton. Her most recent content involving Daxton has fans freaking out though.
Amy King shares a new video featuring Daxton.
This week, Amy went live on Instagram as she and Daxton prepared a meal in the kitchen together. In the video, the Duggar cousin prepared broccoli and squash on the stove. The little boy wore a Spider-Man bathrobe with underwear or shorts and a tee shirt while sitting on the kitchen counter. He held a pair of tongs to help his mom prepare a meal.

On Reddit, Duggar fans and critics reposted the screenshot from Amy King’s Instagram live. Many fans are grossed out by him being on the counter. They think he should be using a step stool or a kitchen chair to help his mom cook. One fan said, “Aside from the fact that “Daxxy” UGH could fall, there’s the fact that his bare feet & what appears to be his underwear clad butt Are On The Countertop WHERE FOOD IS BEING PREPARED.”
Someone else added, “On one side, an edge with a long drop. On the other side, fire!”
Yet another chimed in, “No worries he probably just likes to balance on the edge of the counter like he likes to play with knives, so she has no choice but to let him.”
Fortunately, it doesn’t look like Amy King’s son Daxton was harmed during her live video. But fans are certainly worrying about his safety and hope he doesn’t get hurt in the future. Others are just disgusted that Daxton was sitting on the countertop.
