‘Supernatural’ Favorite Witch Set To Debut On ‘The Winchesters’
Supernatural series’ fan-favorite witch is all set to debut on the spinoff series, The Winchesters. The series serves as a prequel to Supernatural and tells the tale of John Winchester and Mary Campbell. Given that the story predates Sam and Dean Winchester, they aren’t characters on the show. Ruth Connell Will Guest Star In The Winchesters
The show that airs on The CW every Tuesday has aired 11 episodes counting the latest on February 21, 2023. Now, Supernatural alum Ruth Connell, who portrayed the wickedly wonderful Rowena on the show, is set to guest star in the spinoff series. The actress first joined the long-running fantasy show in Season 10. She debuted as Crowley’s (the king of hell) mother. Although she was notorious for her deceptive personality, she ultimately became a trusted ally of Sam and Dean Winchester.

She even ended up sacrificing herself in the final season to aid the Winchester brothers and save the world. However, this didn’t mark the end of Rowena. Fans saw her in Season 15 taking charge of Hell and running things her way.
The Winchesters Fans Will See Rowena From The Past
Given that The Winchesters’ story takes place before Supernatural’s timeline, it is possible that fans will get to see Rowena from the past. Although it isn’t confirmed what her role is in the show as a guest star, it is safe to say that if she reprises her role as Rowena, it will be the evil one.

Even her character’s description states that she has been around since the 17th century and outwitted everyone who wishes her ill. Whether it is vengeance, magic, or fine vintage wine, Rowena always gets what she wants and no one can stand in her way.
Rowena Might Also Be An Ally To Mary & John Winchester
However, this is not to say that she might not serve as an ally to Mary and John Winchester. With Rowena, the possibilities are endless. As per CBR.com, Rowena is set to guest star on The Winchesters Season 1 Episode 12 which serves as the penultimate episode for the season. The episode will air on The CW on February 28, 2023.

Connell isn’t the only Supernatural alum to appear in the spinoff series. Previously, Richard Speight Jr., who portrayed the archangel Gabriel in the series, appeared on the show as Loki. Furthermore, Rob Benedict, who played God/Chuck, guest starred as Tango in the new series.
