Is there drama on the NBC show?

Rumors have been swirling about why Blake is leaving The Voice. Some fans assumed it was because he wanted to settle down and have kids with his wife Gwen Stefani. She was the subject of pregnancy rumors last season.

Others claim there’s behind-the-scenes drama on the show. It’s unlikely that Blake has any drama with Kelly Clarkson. However, an insider told Radar that there has been friction with the show itself. The demands for filming have become too much for the country musician.

“He’s been suffering from burnout,” the alleged source told Radar. “He loves being the star of The Voice, but there’s so much drama going on behind the scenes — allegations of racism last season, competing with other coaches over singers, backstabbing, and the tight filming schedule combined with his tour dates — it just all became overwhelming for him.”
