Was 7 Little Johnstons officially renewed?
Fans have been impatiently waiting for an update on the fate of the show. At this point, it hasn’t officially been renewed. Fortunately, it hasn’t been canceled yet either, which is a good sign. Recently, the family has shared several behind-the-scenes sneak peeks as they continue filming. They have dropped many hints, but of course, they can’t spill all of the tea without TLC’s permission.
Without an official renewal by TLC, there are no details about a possible premiere date yet. As fans continue waiting for word on the future of the show, Trent and Alex are offering an update.

On Instagram this weekend, the 7 Little Johnstons stars shared a new photo on social media, spilling a few details about the fate of the series. In a new photo, Trent posed with his son Alex while they were on a plane together. In his caption, the father of five explained, “Up at 4:30AM in Louisville, KY to make Forsyth, GA for pickups on 7LJ to wrap S14 and begin rolling on S15. Gotta have that high energy for @troyvandamnit on the red couch today!”

It sounds like there are a couple of seasons almost ready to air. Season 12 premiered on TLC last year, and Trent noted that Season 15 is already in the works. It’s also possible that there was a slight mix-up in his caption and that he meant to mention Seasons 13 and 14. Either way, new episodes are being filmed now, and fans are getting excited. One of Trent’s followers said, “Can’t wait for the new season.”
Another fan added, “Can’t wait for the new season , Love watching your family and am low key jealous I’m not in it lol.”
