On Saturday, Alison Sweeney shared a selfie on Instagram from the set of her latest Hallmark movie. She wrote, “First week back on set for 2023. Excited for a new year of fun projects to film and I’m so grateful for each and every opportunity. Can’t wait to get the latest movies on your screens. More to come. 🎥 ❤️”
Of course, Sleuthers already know that Carrot Cake Murder: A Hannah Swensen Mystery is set to film in Vancouver now. However, there are a lot of questions as to whether or not Cameron Mathison will return as Hannah’s cop fiancé Mike.
Moreover, one specific comment has Sleuthers feeling positive that the All My Children alum will be back. That is because Mathison responded “Woo hoo!!!” to Ali’s post.
Hallmark fans were quick to notice this and posted their excitement at the prospect of Cameron returning.
One fan wrote, “From your lips to God’s ear!! 🙏”
Another clever fan put it together and wrote, “it’s you – and her! Hannah and Mike reunite! I can just feel it, Cam! Super excited!!”
However, this is not the only clue that Sleuthers will get their wish.
Cameron Mathison Reveals He Is Headed To Vancouver To Film
On Saturday, Cameron Mathison posted on Instagram Stories that he is headed to Vancouver. Although he shared that he could not reveal the project, it was clear he was very excited. He called it a “Fun and special project–one that will make a lot of people happy.”
He clarified that he could not talk about this project. However, he did promise that he would tell fans as soon as he was allowed to reveal the project.
In addition, he shared that he was “grateful” that the producers scheduled this filming for when General Hospital is “dark.” This is when they are currently not filming. He won’t be missing more than a couple of days of filming his ABC soap.

Sleuthers, do these clues add up to another Hannah Swensen Mystery for Hallmark? It certainly feels that way. The clues are certainly adding up. Moreover, Sleuthers have wanted another mystery in this series for nearly two years now.
Last we saw, Hannah and Mike were still dealing with the details of their wedding. Could this new mystery mean that there will be a wedding? The rumor has it that Hallmark’s summer programming will all be weddings. This would certainly fit.
Although, wedding or not, another mystery is just what Hallmark mystery fans want now.
