Meri Brown Shares Wise Words ‘Do Not Look Back In Shame’
The past year has been pretty chaotic for TLC star Meri Brown. At this point, most Sister Wives fans know that she and Kody Brown are no longer spiritually married. Although Meri had been leading an independent life for quite some time, she’s now officially free to do whatever she pleases.
Now that Meri and Kody’s breakup is official, the reality TV star is focusing on other areas of her life. And she wants everyone to know that she isn’t ashamed of her past. Keep reading and see what she had to say.
Meri Brown is confidently looking towards the horizon in 2023
Many Sister Wives fans suspect that Meri Brown actually won’t return for Season 18. Kody actually left her and she isn’t that popular with viewers. The TLC personality has plenty of business endeavors of her own, but many viewers admittedly wouldn’t be interested in watching Meri-centered episodes. Plenty of Sister Wives fans are happy that she and Kody are no longer together, but there just isn’t much of a place for her on the show now.
But even so, Meri is determined to keep moving and forging her own path. She’s determined to let everyone know that she isn’t ashamed on her past and isn’t looking backward.
“The butterfly does not look back at the caterpillar in shame, just as you should not look back at your past in shame,” Meri posted on her Instagram stories this week. “Your past was part of your own transformation.”
She attributed the inspirational quote to author Anthony Gucciardi.
Of course, it’s not at all uncommon for the TLC star to post cryptic things on her Instagram page. In fact, fans have come to expect it over the years.
At one point in time, these cryptic Instagram posts seemed to hint that she and Kody had officially split up. After that news officially broke, Meri continued to post mysterious inspirational quotes. So what could she possibly allude to now?

The TLC star scrambles to protect her name
On top of the split from Kody, Meri Brown is also dealing with some serious allegations against her. Paedon Brown, Christine’s only son, publically declared that Meri was incredibly cruel to him and his siblings during their childhood.
Paedon seemed to imply that many of the children were terrified of Meri. But shortly after, she seemed to retaliate against this allegation by posting a friendly photo of herself, Hunter, and Logan on social media. Meri Brown doesn’t post much about the Brown family children, so many fans believed this move was just a form of damage control.

I don’t believe anything that Paedon Brown has to say he just wants attention and his own sister said not to believe him. I just don’t see Meri being cruel to anyone. They always looked to Meri when things had to get done and done right and in a hurry. Meri wasn’t home that much because her and Janelle worked. I hope they feature Meri as much as Janelle and Christine. Janelle was never around for anyone except Kody and her kids but didn’t spend much time with her kids because she worked so much. Only when they were teenagers did she have time for them finally. I personally never cared for Janelle or Robyn either.
