Hallmark’s Spring Into Love programming continues with Hallmark’s A Picture Of Her. This new romcom stars Rhiannon Fish (Sweet As Pie, Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths), Tyler Hynes (Always Amore, Three Wise Men And A Baby), and Samantha Ferris (Devil In Ohio, The Gourmet Detective).
Donald Davenport (Christmas In Canaan, Love Finds A Home), and Jeff Wood (Your Turn, Over 21) wrote the script, with Michael Robison (Autumn In The City, Long Lost Christmas) directing.
What Is Hallmark’s A Picture Of Her About?
According to the Hallmark synopsis, the setting is a small town in the Pacific Northwest. Beth (Fish) works on her father’s salmon boat. However, her Aunt Cody (Ferris) breaks her leg. Therefore, Beth heads to Los Angeles to care for her aunt.
Meanwhile, there is a freelance photographer called “Shutterbot.” This is Jake Driver’s (Hynes) secret identity. While Jake is a freelance journalist, his dream is to become a fine art photographer.
His day job is getting freelance assignments at a weekly newspaper. His friend works there, so he gets plenty of work to pay the rent. Now, the paper sends him to a farmer’s market. His assignment is to show springtime at the venue.
While taking photos, Jake takes a stunning and “candid” photo of Beth. Unintentionally, he includes this photo in the packet of photos for his assignment.
That photo winds up on the cover of the weekly paper. The photograph is so interesting that it winds up going viral. Beth’s has become an instant sensation.
Not long after, Jake meets Beth at a dog park. They become friends, but he doesn’t reveal who he is. He wants to get to know her. Jake saw something in her when he took that photo. He wants to uncover that same magic when he speaks to her. The two find a lot in common including their love of cooking.
Soon, Beth is invited to talk shows and contacted by modeling agents. Beth’s Aunt Dody thinks it is a good idea. Therefore, she agrees to be in a commercial.
However, this experience leads her to learn about the photographer. She discovers it is Jake. Beth is confused and needs to get away from her temporary stardom. So, she heads back home to her father’s boat. There is nothing like the silence of being out on the boat.
Now desperate, Jake tries to find Beth. He doesn’t know where she has gone. But, Aunt Dody is happy to meddle. She has decided to conjure up a way for the two to meet in the charming fishing village, away from the watchful eyes of the press.
Will they find each other and remember they are in love?

I am anxiously waiting for Tyler Hynes’ latest Hallmark movie. He is such a great actor and not too bad on the eyes. I love his beard, hair, voice, build and wardrobe.
