Tonight’s episode of My 600-Lb. Life introduces fans to Latonya Pottain and her fiance, Daune Anderson. While this ended up not being a happy ending or a success story, fans can’t help but wonder whether things worked out for Daune and Latonya in the end. After all, fans noticed that Daune was getting more than a little frustrated with the lack of progress his fiance was making toward the end of the episode. Fans of My 600-Lb. Life are always fascinating with couples on the show. This is largely because they wonder what kind of pressure someone over 600 pounds can put on a relationship. If the cast member was overweight before the couple got together there also becomes a concern about whether the spouse fetishizes plus-size individuals. My 600-Lb. Life fans learn that Latonya Pottain and Daune Anderson met while he was behind bars. He explained that he was locked up with one of her cousins who learned he liked big women. So, the cousin introduced them. Latonya explained that she gave Daune all the help he needed when he got out of jail. And, they’ve been madly in love ever since.
The TLC personality wants to get married but wants to drop some weight first so she can walk down the aisle. Likewise, she wants to lose weight so the duo might have kids of their own one day. Fans, however, can’t help but wonder if he will have an issue with her losing weight because the weight was an initial attraction for him.

In fact, their profiles reveal they are actually married. The profiles reveal the couple actually got married back in September 2020. This information leaves fans with a lot of questions as it means the couple either lied about being engaged or her episode was filmed more than two years ago. Likewise, it is also possible TLC thought them being engaged made for a better storyline. So, they left them being married out of the story. Moreover, it is possible they aren’t actually married.
