Steve Harvey Recognizes His Childhood Friends In The Audience

The host recently stopped the game midway after he spotted someone familiar in the audience. After glancing at the audience for a moment he told the contestants, “Hold on one second,” before walking across the stage. He then embraced two men who were sitting in the front row. As he walked back to the stage, the TV star explained how he knew these two audience members. Harvey mentioned that they have been his childhood friends for 61 years.

The comedian/actor further explained, “He surprised me! Grew up next door to me. Been in Cleveland for 61 years.”

As the Family Feud host fixed up his purple blazer, he continued, “Should have told me you were coming, man.” The audience laughed and aww-ed at the emotional moment, as he ended his monologue admitting, “Feel like crying, seeing your punk a**.”

Steve Harvey Never Had A Plan B

Steve Harvey also revealed that he never had any backup plan in case his dreams never came true. He explained, “Because if you have a plan B, you cannot give your all to plan A. I’m human. There were a lot of days when I didn’t think I was going to make it. But I had nothing. I just didn’t want to go back home and say I was a failure.”

The Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man author has had two failed marriages after which he found love in his third wife, Marjorie Elaine Harvey. The couple has been married since 2007. He even admitted that Marjorie made him a better man and changed his life for good.

  1. I love Steve Harvey. Yes it suppose to be a family show. If you watch a lot of other shows that’s suppose to be family shows, their NOT!! If you don’t like him or the show don’t watch! Some people have nothing e else to do but complain. I still watch MATCH GAME and the old NEWLYWED games. Get a life!
