Former Counting On star and Duggar daughter Jill Dillard is sharing with fans how she and her husband Derick brought intimacy back into their relationship. With three kids, work, and everyday responsibilities, there is plenty to get in the way of their private time together. But it looks like they’re trying to spice things up and make more time for each other.
Duggar fans know that the family promotes staying pure until marriage. Though Jill is married and has been since June 2014, it may still surprise you that the former 19 Kids & Counting star isn’t shying away from this topic considering her family’s strict rules about purity and modesty. On Instagram on Thursday, Jill shared a new Reel with fans. In the first part of video, she showed what their nights used to be like when the kids went to bed. In the clip, Jill is cleaning the bathroom, Derick is working out, and then they are watching TV together.
After sharing what they used to do, Jill showed fans what they do now after discovering the Intimately Us app. She included a few screenshots of the app, which features various guides to intimacy and sends reminder notifications. It looks like couples can create linked accounts to share ideas and communicate with each other.
She then included footage of their nights using the app’s information. The pair enjoyed candy together and snuggled on the couch before trying out the ballroom dancing lessons on the app. Finally, they headed to their bedroom, and that’s where the video ended. It sounds like this app has been a great help in bringing back the intimacy in their marriage.
In her caption, Jill asked, “Wanna spice your marriage up without all the yuck?”
