Rick And Morty fans already have a worthy replacement in mind after Justin Roiland was axed by Adult Swim for his domestic battery charges. Justin served as the show’s co-creator and even voiced the title characters on the show. However, he was recently dropped by Adult Swim as well as Hulu after he was accused of committing felony-level domestic violence by a Jane Doe whom he allegedly dated in 2020. Adult Swim Confirms Rick And Morty Will Continue
In 2012, Adult Swim approached Rick And Morty’s co-creator, Dan Harmon to create a new animated series for the network. Soon, Harmon approached Roiland, and together they created the series that debuted in 2013 receiving widespread acclaim. Additionally, Roiland also served as the co-writer of the show.

Soon after Adult Swim severed ties with Justin Roiland, their official Twitter handle posted, “Adult Swim has ended its association with Justin Roiland. Rick And Morty will continue. The talented and dedicated crew are hard at work on Season 7.”
Rick And Morty Fans Dub Sean Kelly The Perfect Replacement
Fans worried about their favorite show’s future flocked to social media nominating a popular voice actor and TikToker Sean Kelly as the perfect substitute. As reported by CBR.com, users claimed Kelly’s voice is a perfect fit for the titular protagonist Rick And Morty. Several fans posted clips of Kelly’s talent as she mimicked the iconic voices of several popular characters.

Finally, a third fan declared, “There’s only one obvious choice and it’s Sean Kelly.”
Hulu Drops Justin Roiland From Solar Opposites & Koala Man
After Adult Swim announced that the network is parting ways with Justin Roiland, Hulu too followed suit. Justin was also the co-creator of Solar Opposites which streams on Hulu. Moreover, he was also a part of the recently premiered series Koala Man. Apart from Hulu, 20th Television Animation where Roiland had an overall deal and which produces these series, has also dropped Justin. In an official statement, Hulu and 20th TV Animation said, “We have ended our association with Justin Roiland.”

Justin Roiland has pleaded not guilty to the domestic violence charges. Additionally, his attorney, T. Edward Welbourn, maintains that his client is innocent.
