Kanye West drove around with his kids, which he shares with his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Their fun family outing quickly took the wrong turn. Per TMZ, Kanye is a suspect in a battery investigation. The “Gold Digger” rapper wasn’t happy when a woman filmed him driving around with his kids in tow.

Things got so ugly that Kanye West grabbed her phone out of her hand and threw it. The video already went viral on Twitter. Ye drove up to the woman. He was upset about her filming him. The Yeezy designer accused her of following him around while recording him on her phone.

“You’re a celebrity!” the starstruck fan said. Kanye had enough of the woman. He got out of his car, grabs her phone, and throws it into the street. The moment of coming across a big star has turned into a crime. Kanye hopped back into his black SUV with his new wife, Bianca Censori.

Law enforcement shared the details with TMZ. Kanye West is now a suspect in a battery investigation. The incident took place at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 27. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department arrived at the scene of the crime and provided the footage of the crime. What’s unclear is whether the woman was a photographer or a fan of the hip-hop star who wanted to get a shot of him.

The incident took place near a sporting event where Nort West had a basketball game. Some fans claimed that Kanye West was with his kids when the incident occurred. What was clear is that he was with Bianca. The two just went on a shopping spree earlier this week.

Is Ye on the run?

It might be hard to convict Kanye West for his crimes if he’s in the wrong. He’s currently on the run from his former lawyers. Earlier this month, they announced that they dropped the disgraced rapper.

Greenburg Traurig, one of the law firms that ended their ties with Kanye after his antisemitic comments, shared on Friday, January 13 that their firm has “exhausted all methods” of reaching out to him, per Billboard. He deactivated his cell phone number. Kanye also has no known physical address.

He has not cooperated with the lawyers. This comes after a copyright lawsuit alleged that Kanye failed to pay for a sample he used on the track “Flowers” from his latest album, Donda 2. He already lost his business empire, as he’s no longer a billionaire. His reps at CAA have dropped him, along with many of his fashion endorsements with Adidas, Balenciaga, and The Gap.
