Back in Season 3, fans saw Kody Brown reveal that he was a professional wrestler and a two-time State Wrestling champion. Highlighting a picture from his glory days as a sportsperson, a fan took to Reddit. There, they shared a newspaper clipping of the Brown family patriarch as a professional wrestler.

The OP shared a black-and-white picture of Kody Brown’s winning moment with a tagline that read, “Lovell’s Kody Brown wins the 155-pound 2-A wrestling title.”

Hunter Brown Wins Nevada State Wrestling Championship
Kody Brown’s passion for wrestling has passed on to some of his kids including Hunter and Gabriel Brown. Back in 2015, Hunter took home his second straight Nevada state wrestling championship title. He competed in the 195-pound class while his father, Kody, and mother Janelle alongside other family members were in attendance.

The proud father even gave his son a shout-out on Twitter and shared a picture alongside his son. He wrote, “Both second sons. Both 2X State Wrestling Champs! Who is the better wrestler? Hunter aka @Brownboss99 is.”

Even his mother shared how proud she was of her son’s achievement and wrote, “@Brownboss99 takes 195lb Nevada State Wrestling championship. 2nd time. It was hard work, son. I’m so proud of you!”
Kody & Janelle Brown Shot Down Gabriel’s Ambitions
While Hunter got a chance to pursue his passion and even win medals for the same, fans feel Kody Brown did Gabriel dirty. He too was a rising star on the wrestling team at his school back in Las Vegas. Not just that, he even ranked 10th among over 800 students in academics and was friends with almost the entire school. The now 21-year-old even had a girlfriend he was seeing for almost a year.

So, it was evident that he didn’t want to give up all he had and move to Flagstaff. Even though his mom Janelle knew that he was heartbroken about the move, she didn’t help him out in any way. More so, he even suggested he could complete his studies and stay at his sister Maddie’s home. However, Janelle shut down his request and uprooted him without giving it a second thought.

Kody is the ultimate narcissist and the trauma he caused his family was never so evident and awful then how he has treated Gabe. It is very sad. The worst part is that he never admits how wrong and emotionally abusive he is. Janelle has admitted that taking Gabe away from all that he worked for in Vegas was awful and shows great remorse about it. This is why Janelle has a relationship with Gabe now and Kody does not.
