‘RHOA’ NeNe Leakes’ Son Drops 100Lbs Amid Stroke Scare
Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes’ son Brentt announced he has lost 100 pounds since he suffered a stroke. This is great news for the young man and his future health concerns.

NeNe Leakes’ son drops 100 pounds
RHOA star NeNe Leakes’ son Brentt suffered a stroke three months ago and has been recovering since the incident. While this was a scary moment for the 23-year-old, it sounds like he is getting his life back under control again and is making changes for the better.
In a recent carousel of photos on Instagram, Brentt showed off his impressive 100-pound weight loss. In the caption, Brentt wrote, “Focus on you until The focus is you.” He then hashtagged it, #100poundsdown. The first photo showed him in a red tracksuit with a white shirt, looking off to the side. The second had him looking in the other direction and the third looking at himself.
The fourth was a video of him walking. However, the biggest addition to the carousel was the final photo.
That last photo showed a before and after of his incredible weight loss. In the first photo, he stood on a balcony, looking at the camera. His belly hung out over his pants as he wore a white undershirt. The second photo in the split image showed the photo of him looking down and standing sidewise from the third image in the carousel.
On top of the impressive weight loss, Brentt seems to have gotten a new hairdo and he looks quite different. It was an amazing transformation.
Update on Brentt Leakes stroke
In October 2022, NeNe Leakes’ son Brentt suffered a stroke. She mentioned in a social media post that he was rushed to the hospital and she thanked people for their well wishes for his recovery since that incident. She then said that she would talk about it more when Brentt was in “a better place.”
It turned out the medical incident was bad. “Two weeks ago today, Brentt had congestive heart failure and a stroke,” NeNe said. “He’s only 23, so he’s really young for something like that to happen to him.” She also said that doctors were unsure what led to the medical issues. “I don’t even want to go into details,” she continued. “What happened and how I found out and what condition he was in. Obviously a stroke is a very serious thing. And so he’s struggling you know, with speaking.”
However, it sounds like it might have been his weight, as he has worked hard to get in better shape since his stroke. It also looks like he is getting healthier by the day outside of the weight loss. Brentt made it home in time for the holidays and NeNe Leakes let fans know she was thanking God for his recovery.
