Josie keeps pretty busy as the mom of two young girls, Willow, 3, and Hazel, 1. Also, she is the owner of a small business called Effortless Beauty. She offers hair and makeup services for weddings and other special occasions. She also has an online store called The Effortless Shop and sells a variety of hair accessories and jewelry.
To promote her products on social media, she has frequent photoshoots. The most recent shoot she shared left fans in shock though.
On Instagram this week, Josie’s online store dropped a new video advertising their Valentine’s Day collection. The jewelry is available on her website as of Friday, Jan. 20.
Below, you can check out the video advertising the Valentine’s Day collection. In the video, Josie and one of her team members, Grace, are wearing red and pink tulle dresses. They used roses, a pink cake, and other Valentine’s Day-themed items to promote the jewelry collection.

Bringing Up Bates fans are shocked & here’s why.
On Reddit, one Bringing Up Bates fan reposted a screenshot of the video and asked others to guess what the photoshoot was for. It looks like many fans think that the photoshoot looks suggestive. Some think it could have been an ad for a lingerie company, while others teased that it would work to promote Josie Bates Balka’s OnlyFans profile. OnlyFans is a platform where creators can sell their content. It’s typically for adult content. So, it’s unlikely that any members of the Bates family will give it a shot.
One fan said the shoot could be for “Vintage Playboy.” Someone else added, “A cover of a queer romance book on Kindle Unlimited.”
Another asked, “How did they think this was a good way to sell anything?”
While fans were confused about what Josie was trying to promote, it turns out that this is just her latest jewelry collection. She isn’t getting spicy on social media, as far as fans can tell.
