‘DWTS’: Jenna Johnson Drops Major Clue About Her Son’s Name
Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy are absolutely over the moon to be parents. In previous interviews, Jenna revealed that she and Val longed to have a baby. However, they were experiencing fertility issues. They managed to conceive their son when they took a break and stopped trying.
There aren’t any publically available photos of the baby’s face yet, but fans expect those will come soon. For now, the couple is dropping a few hints about their baby, including his name. Keep reading to see what fans suspect.
Jenna Johnson hints at her baby boy’s initials
Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson welcomed their son on January 10, 2023. They confirmed the birth on their social media pages and then largely went silent. Most fans suspected the couple was simply getting the baby settled in and adjusting to becoming a family of three.
Fans are so eager to learn more about the baby boy, but it seems like they will have to wait a little longer to receive updates and pictures. However, Jenna did drop a major clue about her son’s name.
“One week with my little love ✨” the dancer captioned her Instagram post. “I promise I will share more when we are ready. Trying to soak up all of these precious moments and transition into parenthood the best we can. I do finally understand what everyone has been preaching to me… “You think you know what love is, and then you have a child.” My heart is forever his and my world is so much brighter with him in it 🤍”
“My guy ❤️” Val replied.
“He is literally perfect in every way and I’m so happy we got to get in some cuddles 🥹🥹🥰” Jenna’s friend and fellow dancer Hayley Erbert wrote in the comments.
Many others noted that Jenna is wearing a necklace with the initial “R” in the photo, likely hinting at the baby’s name. Both Jenna and Val were incredibly secretive about their son’s name throughout the pregnancy, but this seems like a pretty apparent clue.

The Dancing With The Stars baby boom is just beginning
Jenna and Val’s son is just the first baby in the DWTS baby boom of 2023. Four other dancers are currently expecting babies of their own, including their sister-in-law Peta Murgatroyd. She and her husband Maks Chmerkovskiy were delighted to announce they are expecting after several tragic miscarriages.
Maks and Peta’s baby will arrive in June, which will give Jenna and Val’s son a little cousin.
