Layla Stewart is growing up quickly.
If you follow Carlin and her husband Evan Stewart on social media or watch their YouTube videos, you’ve had the chance to watch Layla and her little brother, Zade, grow up. Layla will be celebrating her third birthday on Jan. 31, 2023. In recent photos and videos of her, fans have seen her showing off her big personality. Some fans think she’s bratty, while most just think she’s like other young kiddos.
From what Carlin and Evan have shared, it looks like Layla isn’t camera-shy at all. Fans have watched many of her adorable moments on social media.
Now, Layla is melting her mom Carlin Bates’ heart as she asked to wear matching outfits.

On her Instagram Stories this weekend, Carlin shared a few new photos of herself and Layla standing in front of their garage door. They went all out with coordinating pink outfits. Layla wore a cozy pink sweater dress with white tights and black boots. She has two little buns in her hair and pulled it all together with two pink bows.
Carlin Bates chose a simple black turtleneck dress and wore a soft pink and white cardigan with black tights and loafers. She added a necklace and makeup and straightened her long dark locks.
In one snap, Carlin included a quote from Layla. The little girl said, “I wanna match like you, Mommy.”
On the next slide, Carlin said, “I will never say no to twinning with my baby girl!”
In a couple of snaps, Layla snuggled up in her mom’s arms. In the final snapshot, Carlin put her hand on her hip and popped her knee out as she posed. Layla followed suit and tried to pose the same way.
It looks like several Bringing Up Bates fans messaged Carlin about her cute outfit. They especially wanted to know where the cardigan is from. In one post, Carlin let everyone know it’s from the Bates Sisters Boutique, which she turns alongside her sister-in-law Whitney.
