The ‘DWTS’ Baby Boom: Who’s Expecting, Who’s Given Birth?
This year is going to be a big year for the DWTS cast and their families. In any regular year, there are generally a few birth announcements. But in 2023, there will be five new babies joining the greater Dancing With The Stars family. One has already arrived, but there are still four more to come.
So which dancers are expecting and who has already given birth? Keep reading to get the inside scoop.
The DWTS cast is having a baby boom in 2023
Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy welcomed their son into the world on January 10, 2023. They haven’t shown many photos of the baby or revealed his name yet. However, they did post a black and white photo of his little hand when they announced his birth. It appears they are enjoying time together as a family and may post more details in the upcoming weeks and months.
However, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There are still four more DWTS babies coming — and three dancers are due in May.
Lindsay Arnold and Witney Carson are best friends and do everything together — even pregnancy. They went through their first pregnancies together back in 2020 and now they’re doing it again. Lindsay and her husband Sam are expecting another girl while Witney and her husband Carson are expecting another son. Both women are due in May.
DWTS Season 30 champion Daniella Karagach is expecting her first child with her husband and fellow dancer, Pasha Pashkov. They are having a baby girl and Daniella is also due in May.
While DWTS fans couldn’t be happier for these couples, they’re especially happy that Peta Murgatroyd and Maks Chmerkovskiy are expecting once again too.
Peta Murgatroyd surprises fans with her major baby news
In 2022, Peta Murgatroyd chose to discuss her fertility issues, including several miscarriages. She and her husband Maks wanted more children, but they were struggling to conceive. They chose to pursue IVF, which ultimately didn’t work.
However, there is a happy ending to the story. Peta and Maks managed to conceive on their own. The professional dancers made the big announcement on social media last week. For now, they are still keeping many of the details close to their chests. But they did confirm the new baby will arrive in June.
“It brings me immense joy to finally announce that @maksimc and I are expecting our Chmerkovskiy #2 ❤️” Peta captioned her birth announcement. “After 2 years of constant struggle and heartache, 3 miscarriages and a failed embryo transfer…we have a healthy bun in the oven :)) It was a shock to all of us and we found out right before I was going in for my second round of IVF.”
