Right now, new episodes of the show aren’t airing on TLC. However, Deon Derrico has teased fans on social media and revealed that the series will return in early 2023. While waiting for Doubling Down with the Derricos Season 4 to debut, fans have enjoyed keeping up with the family via social media. Though it’s not the same as watching the show, their social media followers still get a glimpse into their lives.
Karen’s most recent Instagram update included a peek at the new chapter her family has entered. The kids are growing up quickly and their family is going through new changes each day. So, what’s up with the Derricos now?
Karen Derrico updates fans on the next chapter.
On Instagram on Wednesday, Karen shared a new video of her eldest child, Darian Derrico, sitting at her desk on her laptop. Karen and the other kids counted down in the background as Darian submitted something on the website. As she clicked the button, the whole family cheered.
In the caption of her post, Karen informed fans that Darian has applied for the summer program at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts! She wrote, “We are entering a new chapter in our life!! Our oldest, @darianderrico has officially applied to her very first college!”
Then, she added, “We are so excited for her! Praying our babygirl gets accepted into the summer program!!”

Doubling Down with the Derricos fans react.
The comments section of Karen’s new post is filled with positive messages for Darian. Many are wishing the young woman good luck and some are offering to pray for her. Others are requesting an update once she finds out whether she got into the program. One fan sweetly said, “Such an exciting time! She is so special & success will follow her wherever she goes.”
