Duggar fans are freaked out by this old photo.
After seeing Jinger Vuolo’s and Jill Dillard’s throwback posts, fans and critics rushed to Reddit to discuss the snap. While it might seem like a harmless photo of the Duggar sisters, fans noticed something else that concerned them. One Reddit user started the conversation and wrote, “This post makes me sad because they were kinda forced/manipulated into giving blood.”
The fan gave more context, noting that the girls donated blood while their youngest sister Josie was in the hospital. The Reddit user explained, “He [Jim Bob] knew they’d be scared to donate but tricked/manipulated them into giving blood anyway to possibly ‘help Josie.'”
Someone else added, “The way these children were exploited by their own father was, and still is, terrible.”
One Duggar fan chimed in, “This is why you can’t give blood where I live when you’re a minor.” They later added that they live in France, so that may explain why the Duggar girls were able to give blood in the United States.
So, what do you think of the throwback picture of Jill Dillard, Jinger Vuolo, and their sisters? Do you agree with fans who feel the girls were “manipulated into giving blood?” Sound off in the comments section below, and come back to TV Shows Ace for more news about the Duggar family.
