‘MAFS’ Dr Jessica Griffin Shares Her Baby Boy ‘Got His Wings’
Married At First Sight (MAFS) alum Dr. Jessica Griffin revealed that her baby boy “got his wings” in an Instagram video she uploaded to her profile yesterday. The video and update were liked nearly 500 times and a few of her followers even dropped in to leave a comment. What kind of update did Jessica have for her 125K followers?
MAFS alum: A vaguely familiar face
Now, some Married At First Sight fans might be scratching their heads trying to remember who Dr. Jessica Griffin is. That is because technically she left the show after Season 8 because she fell in love with one of the contestants. Originally, she was one of the matchmakers on the show.
Dr. Jessica was a matchmaking expert on the show for Season 6, 7, and 8. Most fans of Married At First Sight suspect she was replaced by Dr. Viviana Coles in Season 9 because her relationship with Jon Francetic from Season 6 was considered to be a conflict of interest.
Fortunately, for those interested in keeping up with the former MAFS matchmaking expert, she does give fans occasional updates via Instagram. For example, just 24 hours ago she told her followers that her baby boy got his wings.
Dr. Jessica Griffin’s baby boy gets his wings
The former MAFS matchmaking expert admitted her heart was in her throat as she watched her 14-year-old son get his wings. She, however, was also very proud of her son.
She penned in her caption as she explained what was going on and how her son got to this place in his life: “Proud mama moment! Since he was little, he’s been interested in planes, fighter jets, anything Top Gun, you name it. When we would fly when he was 3, he’d say ‘more bumps mommy, more bumps’ begging for turbulence while I white knuckled the flight.”
He wants to fly planes. It’s not my dream, but it’s his. So you show up for their dreams. I know you parents know this feeling – Our hearts live in their bodies – even when they are at 10,000 feet and we are on the ground. When he texted me from ANOTHER state I about lost my damn mind. But he came home safely, got to fly the plane, and had the best first flight of his life.
Dr. Jessica Griffin added a few hash tags to the end of the post nothing that she was a proud boy mom and that her baby boy “got his wings.”
